2011 a look back a look aheadA look back, a look ahead.

  1. For fans of numbers, 2011 was a terrific year starting on January 1 only to be outdone on November 11th. 2012 will have some good dates too.
  2. The Charleston real estate market performed very well during 2011. Home sales were higher, prices were down only slightly and there was significant improvement in reducing inventory. I expect more of the same during 2012 and hopefully prices will finally have bottomed and we'll see some modest price appreciation.
  3. For the third straight year, I will (hopefully) incorrectly predict that mortgage interest rates will rise from the record lows that were once again set this year.
  4. social.
  5. mobile.
  6. tablets.
  7. For several years, I've wanted to do (some/more) video but I'm not going to make a New Years resolution to finally incorporate it because you know what happens with resolutions on or about January 2nd. The time is now!
  8. The blog is not dead despite what you may have heard. Comments have moved from blogs to Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
  9. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone was more positive.
  10. If you're out tonight celebrating, have a lot of fun but be safe and don't drive.
  11. And finally, I want to wish you a very happy and healthy New Year!
