Where's the pics
Probably the most frustrating thing for buyers searching Charleston homes for sale is finding a listing in the price range and location that they are interested in only to see that there are only a couple of pictures.
The first thing that might come to mind is that something must be wrong with that house and since there are usually hundreds of other homes for sale that are in a similar price range and location, you might just skip it and go on to the next home in the search results.
The Charleston MLS allows agents to put up to 24 pictures in a listing and while it isn't always possible to find 24 good marketable photos to use, I would imagine that most of you would think that 3 pictures is simply not good enough.
And if there are reasons that the photos might not make the house look very good such as a home in very poor condition, there are lots of buyers who are looking for those kinds of opportunities also. But I'd wager that they might like to see just how much work is ahead before deciding to view that house too.
For homeowners considering selling your home in Charleston, here's a helpful hint. Check your listing and make sure you are happy with the marketing of your home. As the old Wendy's commercial might have said if they were selling Charleston real estate instead of burgers, where's the pics?
