Lowcountry Living with a full front porch

Charleston real estate lowcountry livingIf you are planning on relocating to Charleston, you might be interested in a home that looks like it belongs in Charleston rather than looking like it could be anywhere in America.

And living in a home with an inviting full front porch is very much Lowcountry living.

So if you're like many clients that I have worked with over the years, here's an easy way to search for that special home with a full front porch.

Using the Advanced Search, you can search all Charleston homes for sale and narrow your criteria to find exactly what you might be looking for.

I'd recommend that you put a realistic price range in (to limit the number of results) and make sure to check active listings only (so you don't get any results of homes that are already under contract - contingent).

Then scroll down the search page and find exterior features and pull down the menu to find full front porch. Of course, you can also narrow your search criteria in many other ways while you're at it if you'd like.

NOT a full front porchNow one little thing I should caution you about. Sometimes the listing might indicate there is a full front porch when there really isn't one. A quick look at the picture will tell you that and it's a shame that all Charleston MLS listings are not 100 percent accurate. As you can see at the right, this home was marketed as having a full front porch, NOT!

So imagine sitting on your front porch enjoying a sweet tea or libation of your choice. That's Lowcountry living at its best!
