What's up [or down] with new home sales
New home sales are down again and actually, that's a good thing because the last thing needed in today's housing market is more inventory.
But a lot of home buyers prefer to buy new homes rather than preowned homes and it seems especially so for many people who are retiring and relocating to Charleston.
And from what I've seen, while we certainly don't have the speculative frenzy of new home construction from the mid 2000's, there are lots of new homes being built throughout the Charleston area.
