SC Tax Free weekend, shop til you drop
If you have any money left from yesterday's stock market drubbing, the annual SC Tax Free weekend runs from today through Sunday. Designed to help parents save money on back to school shopping, it's one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year and some stores that don't offer qualified items also try to take advantage of all the shoppers out there by offering to discount their merchandise by the equivalent amount of the sales tax.
So do the economy a favor and shop til you drop (but make sure to spend within your means).
