The dog days of summer are coming soon
Did you ever wonder where the phrase dog days of summer came from. Wikipedia has the answer to why the hottest most sultry days of summer are called dog days.
And in Charleston, we usually have a very hot early summer and a very hot and humid later summer. We're just about ready for our dog days as hurricane season ramps up and it will be rainy season and basically oppressive. We have a cute and funny little saying in Charleston real estate, there's two good reasons to not live in Charleston, August and September.
Stay cool and let's hope and pray for another uneventful hurricane season.
