Summer attire for Charleston Realtors

Charleston real estate agent attire... is most definitely casual (at least for me). It consists of shorts, flip flops and lots of polo's. Actually, it's my spring and fall attire as well and with Charleston's mild winters, I've been known to wear shorts on a nice day in January too.

Rob Hahn, also know as Notorious Rob is a real estate industry insider and just like everyone else sometimes buys and sells a home. He recently moved from New Jersey to Houston and is chronicling the buyer experience. Rob was referred to a husband and wife team who met him to see if they would be a good fit to work together but I think you'll enjoy his comment regarding their attire.

shorts, flip flops and lots of polo's“So we meet for lunch last Saturday. We hit it off. I particularly liked the fact that both of them were dressed casually. It was a hot sunny day in Houston, over 90 degrees. Blayne came in shorts and flip-flops. Amy came in comfortable clothes. They weren't that concerned about presenting the “professional image” with a suit and tie or whatever. Again, some people might look at that and raise an eyebrow. I did not, and importantly, I did not because if they had shown up looking like a couple of attorneys in that weather on a Saturday, I would have thought they were pretty desperate to impress me, which likely would have made me wonder why they’re so desperate, and jump to conclusions about their abilities as a real estate agent. Unfair? Sure it is. But I do think this is how some buyer’s minds work. Take from that what you will.”

My question, do they have a flip flop tan line? Cool
