Memorial Day is not just the kickoff to summer, a day off to enjoy a day at the beach or swimming pool or a barbecue in the backyard.
Memorial Day is a day to honor the men and women who have given their lives for our country.
So while you are out enjoying the day, please take a moment to pay respect to those who have died, to think about what "supporting the troops" means to you and appreciate the true meaning of the Memorial Day holiday.
