It's the biggest weekend of the spring season in Charleston
... and between the Cooper River Bridge Run and the Flowertown Festival in Summerville, you can expect the biggest traffic jams of the year.
With 40,000 runners starting in Mount Pleasant and running over the Cooper River Bridge to Historic Charleston and the usual 200,000 visitors enjoying the Flowertown Festival in Summerville, this weekend is always a challenge for drivers in a hurry to get someplace. My best advice, just enjoy all that the Lowcountry has to offer and get out and have fun!
And by the way, the Family Circle Cup in America's Best Tennis Town on Daniel Island also gets started this weekend too.
