Mount Pleasant homes for sale are selling quickly
... especially those priced for less than $250,000.
Mount Pleasant is one of the most popular places to live in the Charleston area. With close proximity to both downtown Charleston and the beach, highly rated schools and with great shopping and dining, it's no wonder that many people want to live in Mount Pleasant.
While there are a lot of homes for sale in Mount Pleasant and with prices in some of the finest neighborhoods close to and over $1 million, there are many very nice homes, condos and townhomes available at more affordable and popular prices.
I've been looking carefully at homes offered for sale for less than $250,000 in Mount Pleasant for a potential buyer and recently sent approximately 20 choices to give my buyer examples of what they could expect to find when they visited on their house hunting trip.
But what I didn't expect was to find was that I noticed that in the past week, 4 of them went under contract.
That is a sign of a very active market especially considering that it's still mid January and the Charleston real estate market usually doesn't pick up strongly until the first of March.
