Thanksgiving week in the South

Charleston weather ... starts early this year and a look at the weather forecast to the left tells you why. My wife Polly's father and aunt will be arriving in Charleston this afternoon to spend a couple of days here before we all head to the beach to join other family members for Thanksgiving at the beach.

On the Charleston real estate front, Thanksgiving week is one of two weeks in the year that I never spend in Charleston (the other is the 4th of July) and as always, since a lot of people like to visit family or just the city over holidays, unfortunately I will be unavailable to show homes to a couple who called me the other day about relocating to Charleston and that's too bad because they seemed very nice and it would have been a most interesting search. The good news is that they were very understandable.

But one of my clients has an offer pending that we'll try to get ratified no matter whether I am in town or not thanks to the wonders of technology and as always, I'll keep posting to the Charleston real estate blog to continue to try and keep you all entertained.

Happy Thanksgiving!

PS: And good news for anyone planning to visit Charleston over the Christmas and New Year's Holidays, we'll be home in Charleston this year so if you want to view some homes for sale while you're here, just let me know.
