The Charleston real estate market is busy
Observations from the weekend. The Charleston real estate market is busy ... and of course, that's a good thing.
Yesterday, I showed several homes to an out of town buyer who will be relocating to Charleston in the next 6 months to a year. One of the homes we were scheduled to see went under contract on Saturday but we were still able to see it because it wasn't an inconvenience to the seller (who still put out lemonade and cookies as promised). Very nice!
We visited a new home community and the site agent was busy showing another buyer homes in the neighborhood when we got there and there was another buyer parked outside hoping to see the model and what would be available.
Then, we had an appointment to see another home and they were also having an open house and as we were leaving, another buyer was coming in.
And we did have some peace and quiet at the last two homes on our list. 
That's good news for the Charleston real estate market. Busy is good.
