Charleston mortgage report, today's mortgage rates, April 23, 2010
Sometimes boring is good as is the case with little to no change in mortgage rates today compared to last week's Charleston mortgage report. So the "doom and gloom" crowd might have gotten it wrong when they forecast that mortgage rates would soar when Fed intervention keeping rates low by buying mortgage backed securities ended at on March 31.
I added the mortgage rate for the 15 year JUMBO this week since activity in the luxury Charleston real estate market has been stronger this year at higher price points and the 15 year rate offers you both an attractive rate and an additional choice.
