Sometimes people unsubscribe with a nice note
Each month around the first of the month, I send out the Charleston real estate monthly update with links to several interesting blog posts and the monthly Charleston market statistics along with a little commentary. It goes to a large database of anyone who has contacted me previously expressing an interest in buying or selling a home in Charleston.
Generally, several people send quick emails seeking clarification, a few others send an email thanking me for the update and of course, there are inevitably a few who unsubscribe (and because I don't want to spam anyone and only send one email per month, I follow the proper guidelines when sending bulk emails including an opt out).
But while a few people each month might just put the word unsubscribe in the subject box, there have been several people who included a nice note which I really appreciated so I looked back in the unsubscribe folder to find a few from the past few years that you might enjoy.
Hi Howard, Our relocation to Charleston did not work out. Please remove my name from your e-mail list. Thank you!!
Thanks, we won't be moving to Charleston, but you have a great web-site.
Howard -- Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, we've taken ourselves out of the real estate market for awhile and need to be removed from the mailing list.
Please unsubscribe but thank you!
Thanks but I'm going to be moving to North Carolina.
Thanks so much for all the info, but I'd like to be removed from your list for now. :-)
And my personal favorite showing a great sense of humor:
We will no longer be moving to the Charleston Area; the USAF has decided we would be better suited in Seattle.
