[arrrgh] It's Talk Like a Pirate Day 2009
Jonathan Miller at Matrix introduced me to Talk like a Pirate Day a few years ago and I've been looking forward to September 19th so join me today in having some fun by talking like a pirate. Arrrgh!

… during a racquetball game between Summers and Baur, one of them reacted to the pain with an outburst of “Aaarrr!”, and the idea was born. That game took place on June 6, 1995, but out of respect for the observance of D-Day, they chose Summers’ ex-wife’s birthday, as it would be easy for him to remember.
My wife just loves Johnny Depp and his Pirates of the Caribbean movies and of course, with a name like Polly, you just know that she's a big fan of parrots.
So what's the relationship between pirates and parrots anyway?
