Recycle your phone books

The new phone books just landed on my front porch. What I noticed first was that despite population growth, the thickness of the book was slightly thinner. It's probably a combination of more people no longer having landlines and using their mobile phones exclusively and cutbacks in advertising by business. Of course, the attorneys are still running their full page ads encouraging you to sue anyone and everyone and there wouldn't be much need for jury duty to deliberate some stupid lawsuits but that's a post for another day.

I don't remember looking at the old phone book in the past year but don't just throw your old (or new) phone book in the trash, recycle it. Here's a link to a recycling center near you

# re: Recycle your phone books

I always try to recycle!  Thank you for the the comment.  It always seems like a waste to throw away such a huge book!
