Okay, the big question every agent wants to know... do the agents get their commissions on pending transactions or have to wait for a judge to make the decision?

Doug, you're right, that is the big question and I'm glad I don't have to find out.

One thing I'm fairly confident about is that earnest money held in escrow accounts for customers should be safe.

Century 21 Properties Plus

Reorganized and focused on giving Clients MORE

April 2010, Charleston, South Carolina -- A bankruptcy judge confirmed this week that Century 21 Properties Plus, a perennial top-5 company in the Charleston Real Estate market, had met all the requirements and conditions of its Chapter 11 Reorganization.

“This is a great day for our company, our agents, our employees, our clients and customers,” said Tim Rash Century 21 Properties Plus owner. “During these last 12 months, we have been able to meet our financial obligations and provide our agents with support and services so they can continue to give our customers and clients the attention, knowledge, and expertise needed to complete successful real estate transactions.”

Concerning the reorganization process, Rash said, “We were very fortunate to have anticipated a market slowdown in 2006 and took steps to scale back costs and modify our business model.”

Rash said his firm’s position as a leader in military and corporate relocation services helped Century 21 Properties Plus through the reorganization process. “Military personnel and key corporate employees relocate even in tough economic times and we are proud of their continued confidence in our services.”

Additionally, he said his company’s agents proved to be the difference in successfully emerging from the reorganization. “Our professional agents rolled up their sleeves and sold real estate.”

Century 21 Properties Plus is in great position to prosper moving forward.  “We have over 125 professional independent agents who are committed to offering clients exceptional service and are determined to lead Century 21 Properties Plus back to its previous impressive marketshare.

“I've always believed that our customers deserve, and will receive, the finest service ever offered by any real estate organization,” said Rash.

“Now we will be able to re-focus and strengthen our efforts on recruiting and growth.”

In 1997, Tim Rash bought a fledgling, failing Century 21 and founded Century 21 Properties Plus in order to provide Charleston home buyers and sellers alike with a company they could count on for a higher level of service and professionalism.

“I started with eight agents in one small Mt. Pleasant office,” said Rash.  Century 21 Properties Plus grew to become the #1 Century 21® System company in the entire Charleston Metro Area as well as one of the top three (3) in entire Carolinas region for over 8 years.

Century 21 Properties Plus is the proud recipient of the Century 21 Quality Service Pinnacle Award.  This annual award is based on results from Century 21’s Quality Service Survey, emailed to consumers immediately following a purchase or sale through the Century 21 system.  To earn this award, an office must receive surveys from at least 30% of their transactions and have an average score of 95% or better for two (2) conservative years.  Century 21 Properties Plus earned this prestigious award in 2004 - 2008.

“Today, we are revitalizing the company with over 125 dedicated agents and two strong offices; located in Mt. Pleasant on the Isle of Palms Connector and in historic downtown Summerville on West Richardson Street,” said Rash.  “In addition to our outstanding residential real estate division, Century 21 Properties Plus offers professional mortgage, commercial, property management, and relocation services.”

Dave, I'm glad to hear you got out of bankruptcy court but wouldn't a link to the article have sufficed.

I like C21 but I was always afraid they might bring back those gold sports jackets to wear and it just isn't my "look".
