Luxury real estate in Historic Charleston

Luxury real estate in Historic Charleston South Carolina... is still very desirable.

Despite rumours to the contrary, that real estate is dead as an asset class, several recent transactions clearly demonstrate that buyers are still interested in one of a kind luxury properties in Historic Charleston.

During April, four homes closed on the Charleston Peninsula at prices over $2 million.

One additional property listed at $7,750,000 is currently pending. Noteworthy to mention is that 3 of the 4 transactions were for cash.

  • 1 Vendue Range, listed $2,696,000, sold $2,550,000 (-5.4%) cash, 5 days on market
  • 23 Elliott Street, listed $2,995,000, sold $2,300,000 (-23.2%) cash, 847 days on market
  • 39 Church Street, listed $4,850,000, sold $4,200,000 (-13.4%) cash, 49 days on market
  • 19 East Battery, listed $7,300,000, sold $5,400,000 (-26.0%) conventional, 160 days on market
