Springtime in the South
Growing up in the Midwest, scenes of the magnificent foliage from The Masters in Augusta always signaled that spring would be coming soon to the North. But having lived in the Carolinas for most of the past 20 years affords us the opportunity to enjoy a long and beautiful spring, always the most wonderful season of the year in Charleston.
So with a nice segue to The Masters, what a fantastic Sunday. Phil and Tiger played together and both made incredible charges up the leader board only to fall back at the end (Phil, how could you hit it in the water on 12). Attention then turned to the leaders at the start of the day (who were virtually ignored by CBS for four hours) who then battled in a playoff with Angel Cabrera winning the Green Jacket. Wow, what an exciting day.
