It's April Fools Day but [Don't be a fool]
Scamsters have been known to prey on those who can least afford to lose money. With many homeowners needing a loan modification, it shouldn't be surprising that seminars offering to teach people (for a cost) how to make money on loan modifications are now available.
I didn't think very highly of offering a program that the homeowner should be able to do without my help and having to pay but don't you think that others might not feel the same and would in fact try to make money capitalizing on homeowners in trouble who need to have a loan modification.
If you need a loan modification, please call your lender. They are cooperating to help homeowners in distress. And there is certainly free help available from the government.
And on April Fools Day, enjoy some harmless fun but don't be a fool.
