Walk for the Cure
David Weekley Homes is having a Showcase Home Walk tomorrow, Friday March 6th starting at 9AM in their 4 participating communities. For each home you walk through, David Weekley Homes will donate $5 to the Susan B. Komen Foundation.
David Weekley Homes is one of my favorite builders in the Charleston area with homes starting from $270,900 in The Bluffs at Ashley River and $348,900 in The Ponds, both in Summerville, $152,490 in Foxbank Plantation in Goose Creek and $346,317 in Carolina Bay in West Ashley.
But just a reminder, don't buy a new home without your real estate agent and if you haven't selected a Charleston real estate agent as yet, give me a call or send me an email and I'll be happy to help you with your purchase.
Headlines you'd like to see
Instead of "12 percent are behind on mortgage or in foreclosure" or "Unemployment rate hits 9%", it's just as true and wouldn't you rather see:
88% are paying their mortgage on time
or 91% of work force are employed
Move over McDonald's, here's Wall Street's new Dollar Menu
What a difference a year makes and I'm sure nobody could see this sharp a decline coming. Citi is now less than a dollar and look at the prices of the others. And while this is not investment advice, I'm starting to think about taking some GE along with a double cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake.
I'm afraid the others might cause indigestion.
How are some real estate agents really doing
I know it's a tough real estate market out there and like everyone else, agents still have to pay their mortgage, car payment and put food on the table. But I was pretty surprised when I had lunch today and my server was a real estate agent that I recognized.
