Why I write The Charleston Real Estate Blog
As a Charleston real estate agent, my business is dependent upon meeting and helping clients buy and/or sell a home in Charleston. And I can directly trace a number of transactions that originated from either my website or my blog.
In May of 2007 about 6 months after I began, I posted, Why I Blog.
"… providing helpful information and hoping to build a relationship with my readers. If someone turns into a client as a result of getting to know me a little better through my writing, great. But I get a great amount of enjoyment from finding and writing about a wide variety of things that I hope readers will enjoy."
So it was very nice to meet a potential client yesterday who told me that "I enjoy your blog very much".
