[really bad pictures of] A nice foreclosure for sale

From the "you've got to wonder why" department, some Charleston real estate agents need to buy a new camera and then learn how to take pictures, it really isn't that difficult. Here is a home for sale in Charleston but the home buyer searching on the Internet isn't going to be very impressed based on these pictures. But the price will be low since it's a foreclosure on James Island, priced in the very low $200's.

Contact me for additional info if you'd like help with the purchase of this or any other foreclosure for sale in the Charleston area. Now how about these pictures.

You can see the home has some really ugly wallpaper, be prepared to remove it and paint.

But this looks like a nice family room, at least there isn't any wallpaper here.

It's always nice to have a window and a wall in what appears to be a bedroom.

At least there isn't the obligatory photo of  the toilet lid up (but I see a faint reflection of the photographer in the mirror).

What are people thinking when they say," Yea, I like this wallpaper, let's cover the whole room with it."

Charlie, in all my years of real estate, I have never seen a buyer like the sellers choice of wallpaper. Never. And with stuff like this, it's really easy to understand that.

I wonder if looking at the wallpaper every day may have caused the foreclosure by putting the family in a trance and being unable to go to work and pay the mortgage or something.

....I think you have hit on something.  We should get Pres. Obama to propose the HGTV/DIY/your-favorite-remodel-show Stimulus package to change all the home finishes in America.  We would need 500,000 Federal Dept of Good taste inspectors.  And untold numbers of paint mixers at Lowe's/Home Depot.  Even the Fuller Brush man would come back.
