There are a lot of homes for sale
... in today's Charleston real estate market. And today's buyer probably would like to be able to see every one of them so that they can feel comfortable that they made the best possible decision on which home to buy.
But you really can't. Within a $50,000 price range in just Summerville, there are a whopping 464 active listings in the Charleston MLS today. So if you don't narrow down your criteria, it will take you at least a month to see every one of the homes if you can view about 15 per day. And of course, there will be new homes coming on the market during that time so it's a never ending battle to see them all.
Know what you want, narrow your criteria and find the best possible home. Sadly, there will never be a perfect home, buying a home is always a little bit of compromise. But one thing is certain, when you walk into a home, you should know that it feels right. And that's really the most important thing so trust your feelings and instinct.
