Flip, flop, flip. Once again, you can search the Charleston MLS with no registration required.
With the election over and politicians no longer flip flopping on issues (although the next campaign should be starting any day now), it's time for me to do another flip flop on requiring registration to search. Well, actually, you didn't have to register to search, rather, you had to register to view all the details of any property you might have been interested in including the very detailed listing information including multiple multiple pictures, school information, price history, etc. Well, don't worry about that any more, there is no registration required and while I've gone back and forth in the past on on whether or not to require registration, this is how I'm going to keep it.
Now, if you want to save a favorite, save a search, add your own notes to listings, track properties you've viewed or receive updates via an RSS feed or email, you will have to register because there wouldn't be any way to identify you from many others who are doing the same thing. Having said that, your privacy is assured and you won't be hassled in any way. Yep, you'll get the automatic email welcoming you and at most, I send a real estate update once a month. Believe me, I hate spam even more than you do.
