If you are relocating to Charleston, expect great weather

As my wife prepares to "winterize" her closet this weekend by shifting her clothes with fall and winter items taking center stage, if you are considering relocating to Charleston, expect great weather.

Sure, it gets hot in summer and it could even get cold in winter even though it hasn't in the many years we've been living here although there are always a half dozen miserable days in winter to contend with. On a more positive note, we also enjoy many days with abundant sunshine and warm temperatures throughout winter as well. And spring and fall seasons are long and glorious (just take a look at our forecast for the next few days).

And since real estate agents are known for having weather information for those who are considering relocation to their real estate markets on their websites, here are the averages and records for the Charleston area courtesy of Weather.com.

The weather is great as long as the bugs don't get you in early spring and late summer.  I found this great stuff the other day called Cactus Juice.  It works great for the bugs.

Lee, do you drink the cactus juice or pour it on the bugs :)

but actually, the only bugs that bug me are if I get bit playing golf but that just means you should hit the ball straight and not go places you shouldn't.
