The comforts of home
My home is comfortable at 76 degrees. In the summer, my air conditioner seems to run hard to keep the temperature set there but actually, considering how hot Charleston summer days are, I think it would run just as hard keeping the temperature at 74 or 78. But my house seems to like 76 and during spring and fall while my air conditioner is still set to on but not necessarily running very often if at all, the temperature in my home seems to generally read 76 degrees.
During the (thankfully) short winter season, I turn the heat setting to 62 degrees and very rarely will the heating system turn on and the heat from the fireplace will generally take the chill, if any, out of the air.
