Registration required or not
I have gone back and forth on whether to require registration to search the Charleston MLS or not. Here is the dilemma, if I require registraton to search and you don't want to register, then you can go to other sites where registration might not be required. But if I don't require registration, there is basically no way that I can help you search better. And to further complicate the matter, I personally don't like to give up my contact information unless I see real value when I visit sites on the Internet.
So I did a little test and turned off registration for September and to my surprise, there was actually a slight decline in Charleston home search even though registration was not required.
