Tree trimming gone wild

The Charleston area is blessed with many grand oak trees and some trees are hundreds of years old providing a spectacular canopy of shade and framing many beautiful homes and gardens.

Any while many Charleston neighborhoods have the power lines buried underground, that isn't necessarily the case along many major roads.

The electric company comes by every now and then and trims trees to keep them from getting tangled with the power lines and the results are often questionable. 

But take a look below and this looks like tree trimming gone wild.
