if you're the last person to be leaving New Jersey to move to Charleston.
I work with a lot of people who are interested in relocating to Charleston from many different places and it could be coincidence or it might be a trend but it seems like everyone from New Jersey has been getting in touch with me recently to help them with their planned relocation to Charleston.
I'm spending several days with a couple from New Jersey who are interested in a vacation / second home in the Charleston area and we're looking at Daniel Island, Mount Pleasant and possibly at the beach. This weekend, I'm previewing the Charleston area for two families who are planning on moving here next year.
About a month ago, I showed my neighborhood to a couple who were planning to retire here. They went back to New Jersey, put their house on the market and called me yesterday to tell me that it went under contract in just 3 days and they were now planning another trip to Charleston to buy a home. And just last evening, another New Jersey resident got in touch with me to help with their relocation within the month due to a job transfer to Charleston.
The Charleston real estate market is a very attractive place for many New Jersey residents to be considering because of our great weather and low property taxes. I know New Jersey is a nice place but is there anyone still living there or have they all moved South.
So if you're the last person to leave New Jersey to move to Charleston, please turn off the lights and lock the doors.
