Douglas Heddings at True Gotham previously wrote about the house raffle and now writes about another offbeat way of selling homes in today's difficult real estate market. Taking a page from grocery and department stores, how about this deal from a builder in California, buy a house, get a house FREE.
I'm not sure any new home builders or sellers in the Charleston real estate market will resort to this incentive (or gimmick) but we've seen flat screen tv's, cruises, cars and other freebies being offered so why not a free house.
Or you could just price the home to sell.
