Real estate entertainment
There are real estate bubble blogs where visitors are predicting the end of the world as we know it. There are more mainstream financial sites like MarketWatch and when an article having to do with current real estate trends is posted, many of the comments seem hateful toward the idea of owning real estate and real estate agents are often portrayed as the scum of the earth. Of course, the anonymity of hiding behind nicknames allows people the freedom to say whatever they want and emotions pro and con on positions generally run high.
One such example is a recent post regarding home prices dropping and the dilemma facing first time (or really any home buyer today) regarding whether now is a good time to be buying a home. Anyone who is interested in buying or selling a home in today's Charleston real estate market should learn everything they can about current market conditions before proceeding with their decision. After all, everyone's circumstance is different and real estate is local, not national. What is happening in California, Florida or Michigan might have something to do with the economy in general but it doesn't correlate 100% with the Charleston South Carolina real estate market.
Read the story but don't miss the comments. A little real estate entertainment for your Monday morning.
