If you're planning on visiting Charleston

... for a little spring house hunting, make sure you have a hotel reservation.

I've been receiving a lot of inquiries from people living in the cold and snow of the Northeast and Midwest who are considering relocating to Charleston. There is a lot of good "buzz" around the country about what a great place Charleston is and with this winter being one of the worst on record, lots of folks will be thinking about moving South and considering the Carolina Coast including Charleston.

But don't just get on the first plane out without making plans.

Charleston tourism season will be in full swing beginning this weekend with the Charleston Food + Wine Festival. The next weekend brings The Southern Conference Basketball Tournaments and the first weekend in April is always the busiest with the Cooper River Bridge Run and the Flowertown Festival always expecting big crowds with over a quarter million visitors expected. The Family Circle Cup Tennis Tournament at Daniel Island, the Ginn Tribute Hosted by Annika with the top golfers on the LPGA Tour and the Spoleto Festival will keep Charleston area hotels filled this spring.

Make sure you have a hotel reservation before heading to Charleston and please call me as well to make sure that I am available to help you when you plan to be here.

cold and snow this winter is likely causing a great number of people to consider relocation to CharlestonBy the way, the weather's been great lately and spring doesn't start for a month. It's been mostly sunny with highs in the 60's and 70's. Make your plans to get out of the cold and snow and consider buying a home for sale in Charleston this spring.

If you are thinking of relocation to Charleston, you likely won't ever see the temperature sign on the left showing this number. Brrrr.
