Wow! Arizona

Super Bowl XLII in Phoenix ArizonaWhat a day for sports in Phoenix Arizona.

I'm not a former sportswriter like my real estate buddy, Jonathan Dalton from Phoenix Arizona or as big a fan as my friend Jay Thompson, The Phoenix Real Estate Guy from the other side of the Valley of the Sun but ...

Wow ... what a day for sports in Phoenix.

As anyone who reads my blog might know, I am a big Phil Mickelson fan and we watched Phil come from the back of the field and chase down JB Holmes at the FBR Open in Scottsdale today only to see JB come back and birdie the 18th and then beat Phil in a playoff. JB was fiercely determined and a deserved winner.

But who would have predicted the Giants winning the Super Bowl. (Not anyone I know)

And WOW, what a game. I didn't really care who won the game, as with most Super Bowls, all you can really hope for is a good game. I've got a few clients from the NY area and several from New England so if Carolina isn't playing, I don't want to root for anyone but just want to see a good game.

Well, we got even more than that, it was a great game. New England came back in the 4th quarter and then, to the surprise of probably everyone but the most fanatical Giant fans, Eli led NY back and scored and yet even with under a minute on the clock, you just had to hold your breath to see if they would hang on for the win because you just knew Tom Brady could march the Patriots right down the field to win the game.

WOW! Arizona, it was a great day today.
