Charleston tourism spring preview
The Charleston tourism season always kicks off around Valentine's Day with the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) and this year, the 26th annual event will be held in Charleston February 15 -17. SEWE is the largest wildlife art and nature event in the United States.
In only its 3rd year but a must for any food lover, the BB&T Charleston Food + Wine Festival showcases some of the country's best chefs, authors and wine professionals getting together in our incredible city, known worldwide as a fine dining destination.
Sandlapper Real Estate Group shares the same weekend as the Food + Wine Festival with our 2nd annual Sandlapper Track and Field Classic to be held at West Ashley High School.
Other sports events on the agenda in Charleston this spring include the Southern Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments at the North Charleston Coliseum, The Family Circle Cup at Daniel Island and the Ginn Tribute Hosted by Annika at Rivertowne Country Club in Mount Pleasant. As always, it will be a busy spring for Charleston tourism.
