Charleston houses, Charleston homes
There is a difference between Charleston houses and Charleston homes. I had an interesting conversation with one of my sellers the other day about the sale of his house. They have lived there a while and like most homeowners, are very proud of their home, they have wonderful memories living there and of course, expect top dollar when selling it. They also would like to buy and take advantage of current Charleston South Carolina real estate market conditions heavily favoring buyers and that is where the difference between a house and a home becomes important.
So you want to sell your house ... and it's a wonderful home ... but the buyers don't care about you or your home ... just like you don't care about the sellers or their home when you're buying their house.
No matter how wonderful, how special, how many memories, it's just a house to a buyer that they can make into their home.
