New listing alerts
There are a lot of real estate consumers who register for new listing alerts on my website and I notice that many look at them just about every day. They are interested in purchasing property in the Charleston South Carolina real estate market sometime in the future and I think the best way to get a feel for the market is to see what properties are coming on the market as well as price changes of currently available homes for sale in Charleston.

I recommend that it's always best to narrow your criteria to get the most meaningful results. So when I got a request yesterday from someone who signed up for any kind of property in any price range in any area with any number of bedrooms, that meant that person would get an email every day with hundreds of listings that meant nothing. Not that it takes that long but there isn't much sense in even setting it up.
Another thing that I notice is that sometimes consumers will sign up and I'll send a thank you indicating that new listing alerts will start coming and then they never bother to look at them until they are automatically deleted a month later as expired. I can't figure out why they spent their time to register only to not bother looking at the information they requested.
One of the most fun things that I've noticed is that several of my clients who have purchased a home got "addicted" to getting their daily fix of new listings. I've suggested that since they moved into a new neighborhood, I can set up a new search for them so they will get listing notifications for their new neighborhood.
If you are interested in Charleston South Carolina real estate, register for new listing alerts to learn more about and keep on top of current Charleston market conditions.
