Alan Greenspan started talking and now we can't shut him up

For 18 years at the helm of the Federal Reserve, Alan Greenspan talked infrequently and in a language so convoluted, it became known as Greenspeak. With his new book on sale, he has been talking more in the past month than during his years at the Fed.

I just noticed that he has now said the Shanghai stock market is a bubble. In London today, he said the housing market has a long way to go before stabilizing after the subprime crisis.

His new book, The Age of Turbulance is available for $35 list, only $20.99 at Amazon.

If we all buy the book, will he stay home and quit talking. Wink

By the way, I noticed another notoriously quiet public figure making the rounds to sell his new book. Clarence Thomas from the Supreme Court was profiled on 60 Minutes. His book, My Grandfather's Son goes on sale today.
