Historic Charleston
I show property throughout the Charleston South Carolina real estate market in the city and suburbs but the most interesting homes to show are found in Historic Charleston. The Peninsula of Historic Downtown Charleston has several thousand homes dating to the 18th and 19th century and many of these historic properties have been beautifully preserved and renovated. Walking down the narrow cobblestone streets South of Broad and on the High Battery and having the opportunity to view magnificent homes from a bygone era with a client is certainly the most exciting part of my career in Charleston real estate.
Many homes in the Charleston suburbs have taken their inspiration from the homes found in the Historic District but to see the authentic period detail of homes built in the 1700's and 1800's gives you both a greater understanding and perspective of the Charleston real estate market.
I have shown buyers a wide range of property in downtown during my years in Charleston real estate from multi million dollar historical homes to condominiums purchased by parents for their children who are attending the College of Charleston. This week will be especially fun because I have a very nice family visiting the Charleston area looking for a home in the historic district and we have selected some beautiful properties to view.
